The captains meeting is held on the third floor of the Hamel Recreation Center.
If you would like to try and play on a team as a free agent, you can look on our Free Agents page on Facebook. We encourage people to use this page to connect with other free agents to form teams.
All full-time undergrads, grad students, and faculty/staff with a Rec Pass are eligible to play intramurals with a valid UNH ID. View our full eligibility policy here.
An individual may represent only one team in any given sport division. For example, one men's or women's team and 1 co-rec team. After entering a contest, a player may not transfer to another team during the course of that sport season. The first team that a player represents in any given sport is the only team on which he/she is eligible to play.
We strongly encourage co-recreational teams to sign up for our sports! Co-rec leagues are a booming success at UNH. They provide a great opportunity to meet people and have a lot of fun in a recreational setting.
Most teams that play are strictly recreational; however, some teams are competitive and play to win. For playoffs, we generally try and offer brackets for A (competitive teams), B (recreational teams), and C (winless teams).
At the captains' meeting your captain signed up to wear a certain color shirt. Check with your captain as to what color you were assigned.
For league sports, the regular season is three weeks followed by the playoffs. For tournament sports, the length of the season varies. A list of all sports can be found here.
Generally (with some exceptions), Intramurals are played between 6pm and Midnight, Sunday-Thursday.
You can view team schedules here. Not only can you see weekly schedules, but also the tournament schedule by clicking on the "complete Tournament Bracket" link on your team schedule page.
If you win an Intramural Championship, you get an Intramural Champion t-shirt, your team picture on the Wall of Champions, the website, and the glory of being an Intramural Superstar!
If you know that you can't play by 3:00pm the day before your game you should fill out a game change form, so that we can try and move your game. If it is after that time, please email David Charette, Assistant Director, Intramurals, to forfeit.
