How do I sign up?  

Online Registration.  

No need to come to the Front Desk to register for trips anymore!  Just click on the links in the trip schedule to register for the trips you like.  Both credit card and cats cache are accepted!

What to bring?

Once you sign up, the confirmation page will have a link to download all of the info you need regarding personal gear you'll need to bring.  Outdoor Adventures has many personal items (such as clothing, sleeping bags, sleeping pads) available to borrow.

What is included in the trip?

All transportation, technical equipment and instruction.

What if I've never done this before?

It's alright, we'll teach you how.

In general, you are responsible for your own personal clothing and food/water (except for overnight programs where food is provided). OA will provide all technical and group equipment. If you have any questions, please contact us for more information (outdoor.adventures@unh.edu or 603-862-1577).

We’re kicking off our summer programs with a great sunset paddle.  We’ll begin at Jackson Landing and paddle to Wagon Hill Farm where we’ll take a break to stretch our legs.  The return trip will be under the setting sun.  Instruction will be provided.

$10, students

Learn the ins and outs of kayaking.  We’ll cover terminology, required gear, paddle strokes and rescue skills!  Practice these skills in the controlled, comfortable environment that the outdoor pool provides before venturing out on your own!

Summer Solstice Sunset Hike

Celebrate the first day of summer and longest day of the year!  We’re heading to Pawtuckaway State Park to hike South Mountain.  Enjoy the views from the rocky summit and fire tower as the sun sets over NH!

Mt. Chocorua Day Hike

We’ll head north to the White Mountains for a spectacular hike up craggy Mt. Chocorua.  Incredible views of the surrounding White Mountains from the summit!  Hike will be approximately 7 miles over varying terrain.

Frankenstein Cliffs Dayhike

Take a moment to relax and enjoy spring in NH before finals!  Join us for a dayhike to Frankenstein Cliffs in the heart of the White Mountains for incredible views of the Presidentials.
