The Campus Recreation department offers a variety of activities designed to make it easy for you to reach your personal fitness and wellness goals. Our programs will teach you new skills and build on those you have already established. Take advantage of special classes, clinics, and workshops and find out how much FUN fitness and good health can be!


12 DAYS OF FITNESS!

Don't let the stress of finals and holidays override your health and well-being.  Stay on track by completing one "get fit" activity each day from December 1-12.  

Here's how it works:

 

1.  Pick up a card at the front desk

2.  Choose 12 different activities from the 24 listed

     Pilates class ° Yoga class ° Swim  Aquasize ° Ballroom Dance ° Weight Training ° Racquetball ° Basketball ° Soccer ° Ice Skating ° Cycle class/ride bike ° Rowing ° 30+ minute cardio workout ° Walk 45 minutes ° Tai Chi ° Sleep 8 hours ° Sodium intake <2,000 mg/day ° Take the stairs (no elevators for the day) ° Sign out a pedometer @ Health Services (log 10,000 steps/day) ° Healthy eating (at least 5-6 fruits & vegetables/day) ° Sip water from a sustainable bottle ° Replace white flour products with 100% whole wheat ° Visit the web site of Health Services to learn ways to manage stress.  List 3 of their suggestions and practice at least one.

3.  Complete a different activity each day

4.  Drop the completed card in the box at the front desk by December 15th to be entered for a chance to win a prize!
