Lacrosse - Men

men's lacrosse match

The UNH men's lacrosse team competes in the Division 1, Continental Lacrosse Conference within the MCLA (Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association). The MCLA is an extremely competitive, nationwide league consisting of previous division 1 and 2 NCAA teams that lost there NCAA status due to Title 9. Despite being a club team at the University, the Men's lacrosse program travels all over the country with an extremely competitive schedule. The fall schedule consists of practice 3 days a week, and scrimmages against local NCAA division 2 teams as well as tournaments against fellow MCLA teams such as northeastern, Boston College, and University of Connecticut. The spring schedule consists of practice 4 days a week, and scheduled games against their fellow CLA MCLA teams, with an annual trip during spring break to compete against "out of conference" MCLA teams. Upon winning their respective conference championship, teams will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah to compete in the national championship.

The Continental Lacrosse Conference includes the following teams:

  • West Subdivision: Central Michigan, Davenport, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh and Western Michigan
  • East Subdivision: Boston College, Buffalo, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Northeastern
