At this time, traditional PAWs is cancelled due to COVID restrictions. 

Dive into the college experience by exploring the outdoors! Spend 6 days and 5 nights among new peers and leaders making memories that will last a lifetime. PAWs is the perfect way to transition into the next chapter while being empowered in a positive and safe environment.

Explore the White Mountains! Carry full packs during the day and sleep at different campsites each night in the back-country. Summit beautiful mountains and bond with new peers while embracing the Whites.

UNH students rock climbing

Camping, rock climbing and paddling in the White Mountains!  Go on day trips, then return to the basecamp at Mendums each evening. Set up tents for the night and wake up to new experiences.

Be a PAWs Leader

During the program each group is comprised of eight to ten incoming students and two or three trained student leaders. PAWs leaders complete over a week of training and are required to be certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid.
