Group Exercise classes are for all levels and included in HRC Membership. Classes range from strength, cardio, Zumba, indoor cycling, yoga, Pilates, and more! No registration is required.

Beginner Weights

Open to all, Beginner Weights is the perfect class to learn how to move with weight. Focusing on basic movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, press & pull), learn to effectively move your body in a safe manner. Get familiar with a variety of equipment such as kettlebells, dumbbells, bands, and your own body. This class will introduce various exercises to work on strength, balance and flexibility for your entire body.

Beginner Yoga

This class will calm, relax, and soothe the mind and body - a gentle and centering practice perfect for all abilities. 

Bootcamp

The ultimate strengthening, full body workout! Improve power and performance with high intensity strength intervals using body weight and free weights. 

C3: Cardio Core Combo

All fitness levels welcome! Ready to get the blood flowing and strengthen those muscles? Come to TBT where participants will do fun cardio intervals sets along with working arms, legs, and more to the beat of heart pumping music.

Cardio Kickboxing

New or a veteran to fitness? Want to feel powerful and strong? Come to Cardio Kickboxing! Sweating, jumping, jabbing, throwing uppercuts, hooks, and crosses are just a few of the things that will happen in this class. Get ready to feel fierce! 

Core & More

This class is a must for anyone who wants to move and live better. Strengthen your stabilizing muscles so that you can stand, run, and move pain free.

Cycling

Get ready for a powerful workout. Perfect for any fitness level! Challenge endurance and strength on the bike! Great way to maximize a fun workout with bursts of power and speed.

Intermediate Weights

Want more structure to your workout? Discover new exercises grounded in basic movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, press & pull), this class uses kettlebells, dumbbells, bands, and your body weight while you get a good workout. The goal of this class is to advance your skills with strength, flexibility, balance and endurance training so you can gain confidence in strength training. We will be changing things up each class, so get ready to learn something new every time you join us. 

Pilates

Engage the mind and condition the whole body. A complete blend of strength and flexibility training that works to better posture and everyday movements.

Power Yoga

This class is designed to bring a new challenge and faster paced yoga practice, focusing on strength and power.

Restorative Yoga

With the help of props, Restorative Yoga emphases total relaxation. Poses are held between 5-10 minutes with little movement or effort. 

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa describes a series of three poses that are done as part of a sun salutation sequence. This class allows for a diverse range of poses with breath and movement synchronized. Expect to become stronger and more flexible.

Zumba

Zumba is a Latin and World dance inspired fitness class. By mixing low and high intensity movements, Zumba creates an energetic and fun environment for all fitness levels. 

Group Exercise Policies:

  • For health/sanitation reasons, bare feet are not allowed anywhere in Campus Rec facilities except the locker rooms, pools and during yoga classes. Please strongly consider wearing sandals in the locker room/pool areas anytime you are not in water. 
  • Group exercise classes are first-come, first serve. Capacity varies between classes. 
  • Studios are only for Campus Rec programming or rentals.
